Flowers in the spring,
Remind me of when I first met him.
First it was just a tingle,
Then it was light-headedness,
And finally it was courage,

It was this courage,
That made me tell him
The way I felt about him,
And ask how he felt
About me.

It was this courage
That allowed me to
Find out he had a
Commitment to
Someone else.

It was this courage
That made me see
The reality of it all,
