We Will Meet Again

I watch her eyes,
Oh how they catch the light.
I see myself as she whirls.
She spins as fast as she can,
Faster and faster,
Until she can´t spin any more.
She falls to the ground,
Laughs with delight,
Jumps up and begins again.
When she´s had enough,
Her father scoops her up,
And carries her home.
How I wish I could reach down,
Touch those faces,
Let them know I´m OK,
And that I love them.
My baby won´t know me,
But we will meet again,
When it´s her time.
But she will live.
Her life will be long,
And happy.
I have been assured of that.
