We Will Meet Again

I watch her eyes,
Oh how they catch the light.
I see myself as she whirls.
She spins as fast as she can,
Faster and faster,
Until she cant spin any more.
She falls to the ground,
Laughs with delight,
Jumps up and begins again.
When shes had enough,
Her father scoops her up,
And carries her home.
How I wish I could reach down,
Touch those faces,
Let them know Im OK,
And that I love them.
My baby wont know me,
But we will meet again,
When its her time.
But she will live.
Her life will be long,
And happy.
I have been assured of that.
