We all believe
That somewhere
In this world there
Is someone who's
Right for us

I believed this
Once and boy
Was I wrong
He was funny
And made me
Laugh I actually
Thought that
We were right for
Each other but
When I wrote
Him and asked
How he felt about
Me he of course
Said that he just
Wanted to be Friends
And asked if that
Was all right with
Me and I of course
Said yes but I kept
Dropping little hints
About me liking him
And never received
Another letter
From him again

I guess the moral
Is if you find someone
You like but he doesn't
Like you leave it be
He was never meant
To be with you
