LOVE HAS COME

Love has come again
But this time it has come to stay
In its brilliance it brings to me
A comfort that relaxes untrusting days.

Love, amidst a silent night
Listens to all that I desire
It's gentleness caresses my every move
I'm totally lost inside your fire.

Love happens, incredibly true
Cradles my dreams so tenderly
Builds me into a natural win
In its pureness relieves me physically.

Love a hectic day's calm
Fresh as a gentle breeze
A spirit that seems to energize
A love so magnetic, can only please.

Love within a forever world
May it cling to my heart in all reality
A welcoming prayer within my soul
My partner means the world to me.

LIFE TO ME

What is life all about?
To me, sometimes it has its doubts
It has its way in, and its way out
God will help you through.

Life is sometimes hard to explain
It brings you laughter and sometimes rain
Brings you headaches to your brain
Life can be hard to live without God.

Life is not all wars and scores
You have to care and have an open door
Fighting for liberty, our inherited lore
Life is not a conquest with God.

Living life like a king ordained
With the poor, money is a strain
Either way, problems do remain
With God you will win again.

Leaves and grass and tears run dry
A lonely person may wonder why?
Love conquers disturbance with a lullabye
When God is at your side.

When Mom and Dad are dead and gone
The shock of it hits you like dawn
The beauty of nature will live on
When God has given strength.

Life is of more value than gold
It's the most precious thing, I'm told
It's can't be duplicated, it can't be sold
God's created stronghold.

Love is life which seems rare
Hate seems to cling everywhere
Death can creep upon you unaware
So live your life to the fullest....
with God.

IN THIS WORLD

Listen people, everyone
Do you here the sounds of guns?
and people screaming for ther lives
Hoping they'll live and survive
In this world of fighting.

Do you see them running now?
Falling dead and wondering how
In this world of hate not love
We get no help from above
In this world of hatred.

With bullets flying through the air
And bombs dropping down in pairs
The soldiers moved in with their guns
Shooting and killing everyone
In this world of violence.

The soldiers picked up little kids
Babies to, that were not hid
Throwing them against the wall
Smashing them to make them small
In this world of cruelness.

Some men got shot many times
Some were young, some in their prime
The people helpless, the soldiers knew
That they had no guns to shoot
In this world of suffering.

When we found a place to hide
For awhile we could survive
The soldiers arrived with the dust
To them their killing had seemed just
In this world of tragedy.

I killed one, soldier man, dead
I hit him hard, in the head
When he finally fell to my feet
I grabbed his gun and fled the street.
In this world of killing.

The guilt wore on me heavily
The nightmare wouldn't set me free
Killing left me cold and numb
With hunger, I was overcome
In this world of surviving.

Weeks went be, the shooting stopped
From underground, I came up top
Looking for that soldier man
Making sure he'd got off our land
In this world of coldness.

Looking at the bloody road
Seeing people, I use to hold
Tears quickly running down my cheek
For my own family, I would seek.
In this world of sadness.

While looking for them, I did find
My family dead, I lost my mind
First my Mom and than my Dad
My little brother too..I am so sad
In this world of darkness.

I held my head high in the air
And walked on alone..in despair
I realized my life was now just me
The tears came down so suddenly
In this world of aloneness.......
